[Mind over Matter]

New mama Tahja, was centered through her entire labor. She had a vision of how she wanted her birth to be like and it was everything and more! It was exactly how it was supposed to happen and I was so honored to witness it all. Her husband, Denzel, was so overwhelmingly supportive and was right by his wife’s side (as I am sure he will continue to always be).

Tahja labored in silence and smiled and laughed in between contractions. It was truly a beautiful thing. When the time came, Tahja and Denzel welcomed their first daughter, Xionna Ahmani Roze.

Midwifery care was provided by Certified Nurse Midwife, Christine Taylor and doula Bijan Omara-Lee of Birth By Grace Midwifery.
